Turkey Trot

Join us on Thanksgiving morning for a family-friendly 5K and 1-mile Fun Run/Walk on the Gorge Trail in Cazenovia, NY. Courses are out-and-back on a gravel converted rail-trail. 

Registration opens on October 1st at RunSignUp.com.

Race Set Up:

  • Professional Chip Timing.

  • Separate courses and staggered start times for 5K and 1-mile Fun Run. (Start location is the same for both.)

Race Fees:

  • Pre-registration: $20 for CPF Members

  • Pre-registration: $25 for Non Members (become a CPF member)

  • Day-of-race registrations: $35 for all runners/walkers ages 13 and up.

  • Kids aged 12 and under are FREE. 

Race Day Details:

  • 8:00-9:00 am: Pick up Race Bibs at check-in table.

  • 9:30 am: 5K Race Start (north-bound on the Gorge Trail).

  • 9:40 am: 1-mile Fun Run/Walk Start (south-bound on the Gorge Trail).

  • 10:15 am: Prizes awarded to the top 3 finishers in each category (Men, Women, and Youth).

  • Light refreshments will be served after the race.

  • Costumes are encouraged! Wear your favorite Turkey Trot garb.

  • We will be collecting for Caz Cares. Please bring a non-perishable food donation.

  • There are no bathroom facilities at the trail head. Please take care of business before you arrive.

  • NO DOGS OR STROLLERS PERMITTED ON THE TRAIL DURING THE RACE.
