Join the Cazenovia Preservation Foundation for Music in the Meadow—a relaxed outdoor concert featuring the Syracuse Orchestra Quartet and celebrating community, local agriculture, and land conservation.
This year’s summer evening of live music will be set against sweeping views of Gianforte Farms.
Picnic grounds will open at 5:30 p.m. The concert will begin at 7:00 p.m.

Event Details
The Gianforte Farms meadow, currently seeded with oats, will be mowed shortly before the event. We recommend bringing lawn chairs, rather than picnic blankets.
The concert will be held in a scenic meadow at Gianforte Farms on Peth Road, approximately 1.2 miles from East Lake Road. The entrance will be clearly marked with CPF flutter flags.
Because the concert will take place in a field that will be mowed shortly before the event, lawn chairs are recommended over picnic blankets. CPF staff, board members, and volunteers will assist guests by transporting attendees and picnic supplies from the parking area to the concert site.
Accessible portable restrooms will be available, and parking is provided in the field. For everyone's safety, please do not park along Peth Road.

About Gianforte Farms
The concert takes place on land permanently protected through a conservation easement secured by the Cazenovia Preservation Foundation in 2022. Working with the Gianforte family and the New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets' Farmland Protection Implementation Grant (FPIG) Program, CPF helped conserve 471 acres of productive farmland for future generations.
Today, Gianforte Farms grows organic grains that are sold wholesale and milled on the farm into products including rolled oats and flour. Their locally milled products are available at 20 | East in the Village of Cazenovia and are enjoyed by customers throughout the East Coast.
