Join the Cazenovia Preservation Foundation for Music in the Meadow, a relaxed outdoor concert featuring The Syracuse Orchestra Quartet, set against sweeping views of one of the permanently-protected farm fields of the Gianforte Farm in Cazenovia, NY.

Time: 5:30 p.m. — picnic grounds open | 7:00 p.m. — concert begins

This year’s location: Google Map Link—A scenic farm field on Peth Road in Cazenovia, approximately 1.2 miles west of East Lake Road. The entrance will be clearly marked with CPF flutter flags.

Final Reminders

The picnic area opens at 5:30 p.m. and the music starts promptly at 7:00 p.m.
Pre-ordered picnic items can be picked up at The Brewster Inn starting at 5:00 p.m.
Please let the greeter know if you will need access to the handicap parking closest to the concert area.
Please stop by the check-in table when you arrive.
Volunteers will be available to assist guests with carrying chairs and picnic gear.
Complimentary tractor-pulled wagon rides are available from the parking area up the hill to the picnic area, courtesy of Jimmy and Janine Golub of Our Farm, and CPF’s own Board President David Gerber.
Alternative transportation will also be available to help those with mobility issues get from the parking area to the picnic and seating area.
Accessible portable restrooms will be available, and parking will be in the field. For everyone's safety, please do not park along Peth Road.

$20 advance online purchase - Online ticket sales end at 10 PM on Friday, August 21st. Online ticket sales have ended. You will still be able to purchase tickets at the event check-in table. Ticket sales will support CPF’s local conservation projects.

You’re welcome to pack and bring your own picnic! The deadline to order a picnic from The Brewster Inn has passed. If you pre-ordered a picnic, you can pick up your order at The Brewster Inn beginning at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 22.

About Gianforte Farm

The concert will take place on land permanently protected through a conservation easement secured by the Cazenovia Preservation Foundation. In 2022, working with the Gianforte family and the New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets' Farmland Protection Implementation Grant (FPIG) Program, CPF helped conserve 471 acres of productive farmland for future generations.

Today, Gianforte Farm grows organic grains that are sold wholesale and milled on the farm into products including rolled oats and flour. Their locally milled products are available at the 20 | East shop in the Village of Cazenovia and are enjoyed by customers throughout the East Coast.
