Join nature educator, Amy Kochem, to learn all about North America’s largest rodent—the beaver!
We’ll take a walk through CPF’s Willow Patch where you can see firsthand how beavers transform the landscape—building dams, creating wetlands, and providing habitat for other wildlife. Along the way, you’ll learn fun facts like why beavers have orange teeth, how long they can hold their breath, and what animals happily move in after a beaver creates a pond.
Come see these incredible “engineers” in action! If you’ve seen the movie Hoppers, this program is for you!
This is a free event. No registration necessary.
The Willow Patch is located on Mill Street, just south of Albany Street in Cazenovia.
