Join CPF for a free community hike celebrating the beauty of fall and the power of words.
We’ll start with readings of the winning poems by local adult and student poets of the winning entries from the 2026 Poetry on the Trail contest—inspired by this year’s theme: “Harmony”—at the Gorge Trail Gateway trail entrance on Albany Street.
Then, you’ll have the option of hiking the Gorge Trail with CPF staff and fellow participants to admire the vibrant autumn scenery.
This event is open to all—come for a hike and bring a friend!
Parking: If the designated trail parking spots are full, please park behind the Cazenovia Public Library and follow the trail from Creekside Park to the Albany Street crossing (please do not park in the parking spaces for the Buyea’s Hardware Store).
Rain date: Sunday, October 4, 2026 at 3 p.m.
