Submit Your Nominations for CPF’s Annual Awards
Do you know someone who has made a meaningful contribution to conservation or preservation in Cazenovia? Or have you, perhaps, noticed a beautifully restored building that deserves recognition?
Each year, the Cazenovia Preservation Foundation honors exceptional individuals and projects that help preserve and enhance the unique character of our community.
Award categories include:
Robert C. Webster Award: (Individual) For outstanding contributions in the fields of conservation and preservation.
Restoration Award: (Business, Individual or Group) For thoughtful restoration and preservation of a structure that contributes to the historic character of the community.
Stewardship Award: (Business, Individual or Group) For contribution to the character of the community through sensitive stewardship of its buildings or land.
Design and Architecture Award: (Individual or Group) For successful integration of the design and construction of a new business or residence into the character of the existing neighborhood or area.
Landscape Award: (Individual or Group) Awarded for protecting or enhancing the natural resources and non-built landscape of the Cazenovia area.
Community Award: (Individual or Group) For a significant contribution in the planning and implementation of a community project that protects the historic, agricultural or natural resources of the community.
Lifetime of Service Award: (Individual Award) Since 2017, CPF has offered several “lifetime of service” awards. These awards are not given every year. Eddie Green, Dorothy Riester, Don Ferlow, and Russell Grills have been the recipients of this award.
The nomination submission deadline is April 5th.
Winners will be recognized at CPF’s Annual Meeting at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, May 19 at the Delphi Falls County Park Cascades Hall. The annual meeting is open to the public and all are welcome to attend. RSVPs are appreciated: admin@cazpreservation.org
