Gorge Trail

Beautifully situated under a variety of hardwood and conifer trees, the Gorge Trail offers a peaceful woodland escape just steps from the heart of Cazenovia. Framed by Chittenango Creek to the west and a natural ridge to the east, the trail provides a sense of seclusion, making it a favorite for hikers, cross-country skiers, and anglers alike.

Following the path of the former Cazenovia and Canastota Railroad, the Gorge Trail stretches from Albany Street to Bingley Road, seamlessly blending history and nature. As part of the North Country National Scenic Trail/Link Trail, it also connects to a broader network of scenic trails beyond Cazenovia. You can take the NCNST Hike 100 Challenge here.
