2025 Community Photography Contest
Theme: Capturing the Essence of Our Community

The Cazenovia Preservation Foundation is excited to announce the return of our Photography Contest—open to photographers of all ages and skill levels. Whether you're a seasoned pro or a budding hobbyist, we invite you to showcase your unique perspective on our area’s natural beauty.
We invite you to submit your original work on the theme: “Capturing the Essence of Our Community.”
Contest Details
Photographers are encouraged to submit up to five of their best photos of CPF trails, properties, nature, historical architecture, farm landscapes, aerial scenes or drone photography.
Submit up to 5 photos
Location: All submitted photographs must have been taken within Cazenovia or its surrounding area.
Timing: Shots may be from any time of year—they do not need to be taken between now and August 15.
Entry Fee: $25 for adults. No entry fee for students.
Submission deadline: August 15, 2025
Who Can Enter?
We welcome photographers of all ages and experience levels. Prizes will be awarded for winners in the following categories:
Professional: $250
Adult Amateur: $250
High School/College Students: $100
Youth (up to and including 8th grade): $50
What Happens with My Photo(s)?
All submissions will be published on our website, and selected photos may be featured in CPF’s printed and online informational and promotional materials. Winners will be announced on September 15, 2025.

Professional and Adult Amateur contestants, after you fill out the entry form and submit your photos, please return to this webpage to pay your entry fee, below. (There is a no entry fee for students and youth.)
