On the last Thursday of the month, April through October (weather permitting), join CPF board members, staff, and other volunteers for Trail Work Thursdays.
Spend an hour or two beautifying your community trails, then join the group for refreshments at a local Cazenovia establishment.
This month, we’ll need crews to:
Cut invasive weeds, lay fabric, and spread woodchips (bring loppers/pruners, wheelbarrows, shovels, pitchforks, rakes).
Weed, spread mulch, and install some new native plants (bring shovels, wheelbarrows).
Trim along Carpenter’s Pond and Willow Patch Trails (bring string trimmers and loppers; anyone operating power equipment must wear long pants, and eye and ear protection).
Mark Your Calendar for these Future Trail Work Thursdays:
August 28
September 25
October 30
Volunteer hours are available for high school students. Volunteers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
