A tally of the sign-in sheets from CPF's three trail kiosks totaled over 4000 trail users for the 2011 year.  That is a 26% increase over 2010 registered trail use.  The Gorge Trail, an old railroad bed that extends over 2 miles north along Chittenango Creek from the Village of Cazenovia, is CPF's most heavily used trail, with over 3000 sign-ins for the year.  This trail is a favorite of walkers and cross country skiers.   The Burlingame Trail system, with a parking area on burlingame Road 1 mile east of Route 13, showed 725 signed-in visitors for the year.  Fairchild Hill, with access and parking behind the Truch brown building at the south end of the lake, showed 293 visitors.

With your support, CPF owns and maintains these trails for public use.  Please respect adjacent owners and other trail users.
